Located on the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii, North Kohala is known to be where time stands still. This area has many historic landmarks, galleries and restaurants along with spectacular offshore views of Maui in the distance. North Kohala’s wide open spaces and pristine, remote areas are conducive to agriculture and eco-friendly tourism.
Kohala is also the birth place of Hawaii’s greatest Ali’i, King Kamehameha I, who unified the Hawaiian Islands under one rule.
